Garlic Naan

Apparently us Aussies love to order garlic naan to be delivered to their homes, so I’ve created the easiest recipe that takes little effort, but just some resting time.

INGREDIENTS Makes 8

  • 300 g (2 cups) wholemeal flour 

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 sachet instant dried yeast 

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 cup Greek-style yoghurt 

  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup coriander, finely chopped

  • 80g butter

METHOD

  1. Mix the flour, salt, yeast, sugar, yoghurt, half the garlic and 125 ml (1/2 cup) water in a bowl to combine. Sit in fridge for 6 hours or overnight. 

  2. Roll out portions. Dry pan toast 1 min each side and finish with garlic and coriander butter.
